Speaking in Pune while supporting students protesting against MPSC examination irregularities, Dipke asserted that institutional integrity has collapsed. He contended that participation in the current electoral environment is futile until the Commission undergoes a leadership change and the Systematic Voters' Education and Electoral Participation (SVEEP) process is stabilized. His comments arrive as public scrutiny intensifies over administrative transparency within the poll body.
These accusations follow reports that Election Commissioners Sukhbir Singh Sandhu and Vivek Joshi raised objections on 14 separate occasions regarding voter registration and technological protocols. The Election Commission dismissed these claims of internal dissent, characterizing the interactions as standard administrative feedback during draft stages. The panel maintained that all final decisions, including the schedule for electoral roll exercises, were reached through unanimous agreement.
