Krishnam directed his criticism at Samajwadi Party MP Awadhesh Prasad, who recently proposed a protest march against the Election Commission. According to Krishnam, if the opposition truly believes the electoral process is compromised under Chief Election Commissioner Gyanesh Kumar, they must logically vacate their own seats, which were secured through the same system. He dismissed claims that electoral losses stem from administrative irregularities, asserting instead that the opposition suffers from flawed political positioning.
Beyond institutional critiques, Krishnam attacked the opposition’s ideological direction and leadership. He claimed that voters are rejecting them due to their stance on Sanatan Dharma and the selection of Rahul Gandhi as the Leader of the Opposition. Furthermore, he warned of a demographic shift, alleging that if the national population reaches a 50-50 split, figures like Asaduddin Owaisi would abandon democratic rhetoric in favor of views historically associated with Muhammad Ali Jinnah.
