Rajasthan Commits ₹370 Crore to Industrial Expansion in Pali

Rajasthan Chief Minister Bhajanlal Sharma has sanctioned contracts totaling ₹370 crore to accelerate infrastructure and electrification across 641 hectares within the Jodhpur-Pali-Marwar industrial zone. The move marks a significant expansion phase aimed at bolstering the region's manufacturing capacity and attracting further private investment into the state’s industrial hubs.

Addressing the Laghu Udyog Bharati Entrepreneurs' Conference, Sharma confirmed that the Rajasthan State Industrial Development and Investment Corporation (RIICO) has already distributed land to over 3,000 memorandum of understanding (MoU) holders. Construction activity is currently underway at more than 800 individual industrial sites. The government intends to leverage this momentum through a series of sector-specific frameworks, including the Rajasthan Textile & Apparel Policy 2025 and the Rajasthan Semiconductor Policy 2026.

Over the past thirty months, the administration has introduced 37 distinct policies designed to streamline regulatory hurdles and position the state as a premier destination for capital. Sharma emphasized that these initiatives seek to rectify historical imbalances, noting that while large-scale industries historically dominated with heavy subsidies, the current focus is on revitalizing traditional sectors. By supporting small-scale enterprises, the state aims to drive job creation and advance the broader vision of a self-reliant economy.
