Dhinakaran’s comments come ahead of the October 6 bypolls in Dharapuram and Madurantakam, where he claims the political landscape is being manipulated. He accused the Chief Minister of destabilizing the state, alleging that 25 AIADMK MLAs were swayed by promises to secure the current government’s standing. Furthermore, he criticized the recruitment of TVK functionaries, questioning their past conduct and linguistic credentials while condemning what he described as a decline in political standards.
The AMMK leader also addressed ongoing infrastructure projects, specifically the Parambikulam-Aliyar and Anaimalaiyar-Nallaru initiatives. He argued that the current administration stalled progress on these developments despite prior funding, urging the government to engage more effectively with Kerala authorities. As the bypolls approach, Dhinakaran maintains that the electorate was misled and asserts that the upcoming results will expose the true sentiment of voters toward the current leadership.
