Choudhary emphasized that both Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Chief Minister Nitish Kumar share a singular goal: transforming Bihar into a hub of industrial activity. The government intends to move beyond traditional employment models by aggressively expanding the private sector, aiming to curb the exodus of migrant laborers by creating jobs within state borders. According to the Deputy CM, the state has already allotted land to roughly 950 individuals since the start of 2025, facilitating the growth of small-scale enterprises.
A central component of this strategy is the Bharat Audyogik Vikas Yojana (BHAVYA), a federal initiative launched by the Prime Minister to integrate regional workforces into the national industrial mainstream. Beyond economic policy, the event served as a commemoration of Gandhi’s 157th birth anniversary, where officials unveiled a new bust of the leader and introduced an online ticketing system for the Bapu Tower memorial. Choudhary stated that the administration bears a collective responsibility to instill the Gandhian values of truth and non-violence in the next generation, bridging the gap between historical ideals and contemporary economic development.
