Russian Missile Strikes Target Kyiv Logistics Hubs and Black Sea Vessels

The Russian Ministry of Defence claimed the operation utilized ground-launched missiles and long-range drones to neutralize what it identified as critical storage points for military hardware. Among the sites hit were two major sorting complexes belonging to Nova Poshta, which Moscow described as primary hubs for dual-use components. While Russia maintains these facilities supported Ukraine’s drone forces, independent verification of the cargo contents remains unavailable.

Simultaneously, the ministry reported attacks on three cargo vessels south of Odesa, alleging the ships were engaged in transporting military equipment to Ukrainian forces. This escalation follows a pattern of tit-for-tat strikes; Ukrainian drones have recently targeted over 20 warehouses belonging to Russian retailer Wildberries and several oil refineries. Kyiv characterizes these actions as a strategy to bring the economic and physical reality of the conflict directly to the Russian interior, effectively raising the price of the ongoing invasion.
