Beyond Epstein, the proposed inquiry could expand to cover the alleged misconduct of the late Egyptian billionaire Mohamed al-Fayed, who faced hundreds of accusations of rape and sexual assault. British police are already conducting active investigations into offenses ranging from child sex abuse to the trafficking of women through domestic airports and systemic misconduct in public office.
