The Samajwadi Party is simultaneously pushing for a parliamentary discussion on alleged irregularities in Ram Mandir donations. Party MP Dharmendra Yadav confirmed that the request was reiterated during the Business Advisory Committee meeting, following prior unsuccessful attempts to bring the matter to the floor. According to SP leader Rajeev Rai, the government is deliberately avoiding these contentious topics, despite repeated non-adjournment motions filed by various opposition members.
Rai criticized the administration for ignoring pressing national concerns, claiming that legislative procedures are being bypassed to shield ministers from accountability. The opposition remains particularly focused on the conduct of Delhi Police during the march organized by the Cockroach Janata Party, where protesters were reportedly subjected to lathi-charges and pellet fire. Independent MP Pappu Yadav has further fueled the tension, recently performing a theatrical protest by impersonating a priest to highlight alleged corruption surrounding temple funds.
