Dhami targets opposition over recruitment scams and Sanatan Dharma

Dhami asserted that NDA-governed states have maintained rigorous standards, citing his own administration’s success in jailing over 100 members of the so-called cheating mafia and enacting stringent anti-fraud legislation. He contrasted this with the performance of states like Jharkhand and Punjab, as well as the 2012–2017 tenure of the Samajwadi Party in Uttar Pradesh, characterizing those periods as eras of widespread irregularities. According to the Chief Minister, the youth recognize that the Congress, Samajwadi Party, and AAP bear responsibility for these failures.

The Chief Minister’s rhetoric sharpened when addressing the FIR registered against Congress MP Rahul Gandhi, Independent MP Pappu Yadav, and Samajwadi Party MP Awadhesh Prasad. Dhami labeled their conduct as the lowest form of political behavior, specifically targeting Yadav for his perceived efforts to malign Sanatan Dharma. He noted that the refusal of these leaders to attend the Ram Mandir Pran Pratishtha ceremony underscores a deeper, hostile mindset toward religious sentiments.

Beyond political confrontation, Dhami highlighted the progress of the 'Jan-Jan ki Sarkar' initiative, a program designed to decentralize state administration. The outreach drive aims to deliver governance directly to citizens in remote regions by settling grievances and distributing necessary documentation on-site. Official figures indicate that the campaign has reached over 6.5 lakh participants across two phases, resulting in the immediate resolution of more than 60,000 individual cases.
