Adhir Kaushik, president of the Akhand Parshuram Akhara, declared that any attempt to tarnish religious symbols within the Parliament complex would be met with fierce opposition. He specifically targeted Yadav and Samajwadi Party MP Awadhesh Prasad, asserting that the legislative house is a temple and insults to saffron attire remain intolerable. Kaushik echoed the sentiments of Mahant Ravindra Puri, who demanded a public apology from the lawmakers to prevent further escalation.

Mahant Ravindra Puri, head of the Akhil Bharatiya Akhara Parishad, went further by questioning the character of the MPs involved in the July 31 demonstration. He alleged that by mocking the attire of holy men, the politicians insulted the collective sanctity of the community. The protest involved a skit questioning Ram Mandir donations, where participants enacted scenes of alleged corruption. Jagadguru Paramhans Acharya Maharaj warned that if the situation remains unaddressed, the patience of the Sanatanis will fracture, potentially leading to a massive march on Parliament. The Akhara leadership maintains that the only path to resolution is a formal retraction and apology from those who staged the controversial performance.
